**THANK YOU!**

Dear Congregants,

We are pleased to announce our plans for our upcoming High Holiday Services 5782.

All adult services will have the option of attending in person or                                 watching live stream.

All youth and children services are in person only.

In an effort to keep our in-person services safe for all, the sanctuary will be set up with the chairs placed socially distanced with a maximum capacity of 250 chairs (our normal capacity is 500).

Therefore, in order to accommodate all our congregants and children, there will be 2 services on Rosh Hashanah Day One, Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur. Kindly refer to the listings below to determine the service(s) you are invited to attend.

High Holiday Tickets will only be issued to congregants who have chosen to attend our services in person.  The color of your ticket is determined by the service(s) you will be attending.

Recent information about the COVID-19 Delta variant is both developing and disturbing.  Accordingly, the COVID-19 Task Force recently met and reviewed information from the CDC, State and County health officials.  Based on this information, we have decided that masks will be required for all congregants inside our building regardless of vaccination status as we return to BTBJ, including for High Holiday services.  Of course, our goal is to enable our community to gather in person as safely as possible while protecting the most vulnerable in our congregation, including our children.  The Task Force will continue to monitor the situation and we will keep the congregation apprised of any other changes.  We thank you for your support and cooperation.

We kindly ask you to complete the registration page no later than August 6. The time of your service is determined by the listing below. You will have the option of choosing the in person or live stream option. If you have chosen the live stream option, please indicate if you would like a copy of the High Holiday Mazhor which can be either picked up at the synagogue or delivered to your home.

Finally, please let us know if you can volunteer to help us pack our High Holiday packets and/or deliver.

Kindly contact Aaron Soowal or Val with questions and/or comments.

On behalf of the Clergy and Ritual Committee, we are looking forward to uplifting and spiritual services as we welcome you Back to BTBJ.

Sincerely,

Aaron Soowal                                               Valarie Hurwitz
