BTBJ is more than a synagogue — it’s a spiritual home where Jewish life is celebrated, traditions are cherished, and community feels like family. Here, our members stand by one another through life’s joys and challenges, creating a close‑knit congregation filled with care, connection, and belonging.

As a Conservative synagogue with a contemporary spirit, we honor tradition while embracing the future. Our services are egalitarian and participatory: women are called to the Torah, children lift their voices in song, and everyone is welcomed with warmth. For more than 50 years, BTBJ has been a vital center of Jewish life in the Philadelphia suburbs, and today we continue to grow with energy, compassion, and purpose.
