Shabbat mornings
Our Shabbat morning services engage our diverse community through participation. Congregants constantly participate in all aspects of our worship by opening the Ark, carrying the Torah, chanting the blessings and by lifting and dressing the Torah. Rabbi Grife's Divrei Torah welcome discussion. Opportunities are available to read Torah, Haftorah and to lead the congregation in prayer and study. Services generally start at 9:30am and end at noon. We offer a spectrum of Shabbat morning programs throughout the year along with our traditional service. Some weeks we gather and begin with breakfast to allow participants to informally sit and get to know each other better. Some weeks we present a shorter more creative program. In a grand effort to cater to our widely eclectic congregation, we do all we can to present lots of connections and inspirations to our community during our Shabbat morning gatherings!
