Cantor Benjamin Greenfield
Benjamin Greenfield, a native of Annapolis, Maryland, with over 10 years of cantorial experience. He received his Bachelor’s degree in music performance from Baldwin Wallace University and served as the Cantor at Temple B’nai Abraham in Elyria, Ohio.
Cantor Greenfield returned to Maryland and pursued graduate coursework in vocal performance/pedagogy at the Peabody Institute as well as in Judaic Studies at the Baltimore Hebrew Institute of Towson University. He maintained an active musical life by performing lead roles in both opera and musical theater, and as a soloist in choral repertoire. He served as the tenor soloist for the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Baltimore, Maryland. An active composer, he is currently working on a choral piece of mystical poetry from the three Abrahamic faiths.
