BTBJ seeks to create a warm, embracing and nurturing Jewish Community. We enable learners to experience the richness, joy and wonder of Judaism. We promote Jewish identity, spirituality and community connectedness through dynamic, active, experiential, engaging and authentic educational experiences, and family learning programs that draw upon resources both traditional and new.

At BTBJ, lifelong Jewish Learning is multi-generational. It takes place within the walls of BTBJ and continues beyond the walls as well. It offers choices and provides our learners with a range of learning opportunities. Jewish learning is a partnership between the synagogue and the home and a shared responsibility among learners, teachers, leaders and the congregational community.

We inspire our children to develop a commitment to integrate the values of our Jewish heritage in daily living, promote social justice and support the State of Israel.  We engage in study, prayer and acts of loving kindness. We inspire Jewish hearts and Jewish minds by modeling "BTBJ...A Place Where You Belong".
