Shabbaton 2023

A weekend full of family fun and learning January 27th– 28th, 2023
5pm Friday Evening – 9:30pm Saturday

Shabbaton is unique camplike shabbat experience with programs and learning for our entire kehillah (community). Typically, the weekend, is held off site, this year ‘Machenah (camp) BTBJ’ is our primary location. The place might be different, but the spirit (ruach) will be as strong as ever. Shabbaton is for anyone ages 7 years (2nd grade) and up. Religious school students can earn 3 Jr Congregation Credits for participating in the entire weekend. At least one parent per family is encouraged to participate in this family-oriented shabbat with their child(ren). Come for the entire weekend or join us Friday Night or Saturday.
Shabbaton Offers Something for Our Entire Community!
Beautiful Camp Like Shabbat & Havdalah Services, Torah Study. Family friendly programming, Israeli Dance Party, Quizzos, Talent Show and of course S’mores. Also included is plenty of food, chavurah (friendship) and kehillah (community). Join us!

FEES:  All fees are the same for an adult or child.


*Parent attendance: This is a family event. At least one parent per family is expected to attend Shabbaton with your child(ren).
*Full Weekend (adult/child) includes: 4 meals, snacks, and all programming.
*Friday Night only includes: Friday night programming and dinner.
*Saturday only: Assumes arrival by 9:45am, includes lunch, dinner, snacks, and all programming.
* Jr. Cong. credits are based on services attended: 1 for Friday, 2 for Saturday (between 9:45am -12:30pm).
*Program Details. All participants will receive an email prior to Shabbaton with a schedule of the weekend.
*Shabbat Candle Lighting is at 5pm on January 27th.
*Shabbaton is an in-person experience. We will not be able to offer virtual programming.
